With the combined solution the two companies will jointly target Over-the-Top (OTT) and WebRTC voice markets with Sansay providing session control, including security, high availability media handling, transcoding, packet header manipulations, and call routing. Plivo provides a powerful and scalable API platform to help build advanced VoIP applications, including hosted PBX, IVR, ACD, messaging, text to speech, call recording, conferencing and WebRTC.
Unlike single point solutions delivered by traditional VoIP infrastructure vendors, the Sansay and Plivo combined offering provides for both hosted or cloud-based service delivery options, allowing service providers to launch new services with pay-as-you grow economics.
